SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: East London, Ilford
Start Date January 2023
Role: Full time
Pay: £75-95

We are currently working with an "outstanding" community SEN school at the heart of Ilford who are currently looking for proactive and energetic SEN teaching assistant who can support children with Autism, between the ages of 4-19. This role requires you to work 1:1 with children during daily tasks. The school has facilities like a sensory, wellbeing and relaxation room to support children through their daily activities. We are looking for friendly and hands-on support staff who genuinely want to create a difference in young people's lives.
The Ideal SEN teaching assistant:
Experience working with SEN children or similar positions like youth work, mentoring, policing, care work and social care
Academic background in Psychology or other social sciences
Flexible and energetic
Positive role model and supporting pupil progression

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
