SEN LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT
 
Full time/ Part time/ Day to day supply

Pay £75-£90 a day (depending on experience)

Start: January 2023

Location: East London Ilford/Romford

Teaching Personnel are pleased to be recruiting Teaching Assistants to work within a primary ASD Unit in East London. We have schools all across London and they cater for young students who have complex SEN including Autism, SEMH, profound multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties and speech and language difficulties. You will be working within a dedicated, experienced team in small classes of around 6 children. 

If you are a Teaching Assistant or recent Graduate and wish to be part of this fantastic team you should:

Be a committed to supporting children with a diagnosis of ASD
Have experience of working with/being around children with Special Educational Needs
Have very strong and confident behaviour management skills 
Have a calm, adaptive and positive personality
Positive handling training desirable but not essential
Proactive and passionate about assisting the most vulnerable children in education.

·                    Have a Child Workforce DBS Certificate on the Update Service (we can help with this)

·                    Provide 2 proofs of address

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
