About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a cross functional team to design and develop systems that scale for large volumes of data and are maintainable. You will work closely with the team to deliver good quality software that benefits the customers.


* Collaborate as part of a tight-knit, agile, quality-focused team to design and deliver desired solutions

* Engage in all aspects of the development lifecycle, apply best practices and create good quality software

* Grow talent by mentoring junior team members


* Excellent programming skills, with experience in building microservices or distributed systems with Java or Scala

* Knowledge of Spark, SQL and databases

* An advocate of agile practices for rapid development of quality software, such as TDD and CI/CD

* Solid experience with AWS and knowledge of Terraform

* Familiar with working in a multi-disciplinary team, where Cloud Infrastructure specialists, QE, and Developers work side-by-side

* Comfortable with learning new technologies, languages and tools on the job

* Experience or willingness to work as part of a collaborative DevOps enabled team
