Job Description

Our client is looking for a Temporary Procurement Advisor to be responsible for tendering and contract management for all generalist categories including furniture, equipment, and supplies procurement; and car fleet, tendering and contract management reporting into the Procurement Manager.

As a Temporary Procurement Advisor, your responsibilities include:

Report into and support the Procurement Manager to improve the function
Use a strategic approach to all current and upcoming projects
Sell the benefits of using procurement internally to the key members of the business
Proactively look at current spending and offer alternative methods/suppliers for improvement and cost savings
Cross-functional strategy implementation
OJEU & public sector experience is ideal
Strategic procurement experience across relevant categories
Proven achievements in cost savings or improved service delivery to the business
Ideally some exposure to all categories

This position offers both working from home and in the office.
