Rate: £160 – £220 per day depending on experience.

Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary School based in London Borough of Croydon are looking for a strong teacher of Mathematics who can deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4. You will have the opportunity to work with an already highly reputable school and join a well organised Mathematics' department. This position is to start as soon as possible and last until the end of the Academic year.
Your new role
Starting mid January, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4. As this is a long-term assignment, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils' work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.
This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long-term position, you will also be required to attend parents' evenings and other school functions.
You will join Mathematics' department alongside with few other Teachers of Mathematics.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and ideally have experience of teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4. The school would consider NQT or ECT. You must be available to start as soon as possible and ideally be able to work through to July 2023, with a real passion and drive to provide a high quality of teaching and therefore contribute to the overall success of the department.
Advantageous, if you have DBS on update service.
