Account Manager
Sector: Legal Research and Information
Location: Central London
Salary: £30-35k + OTE £25k in Year 1 (uncapped)
The Role: This is an exciting and varied position for an up-and-coming salesperson to take the next step within their account management career, working closely with global law firms and large corporate businesses. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
Selling subscriptions to business intelligence & insight reports across the legal sector
Targeting Lawyers, both in-house and private practice and government councils
Purely focussing on the growth and renewal of an existing account baseThe incoming Account Manager will be focussed on generating new revenue within a portfolio of existing client relationships through a combination of upselling, cross-selling and renewals. A key aspect of this position is to develop long-term, collaborative relationships with clients to understand any future objectives and strategies to tailor suitable solutions. The ideal candidate will be a positive and proactive salesperson with a consultative, business development background and natural rapport-building skills.

Having achieved consistent growth across the commercial team over the past few years, our client is looking to continue this trend by expanding their account management division to ensure their existing client relationships are given optimal focus.
Requirements: For this Account Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
2+ years of B2B closing experience, with exposure to both new business development and account management capacity.
A background within a consultative, sales environment is a preference (eg. Subscriptions/Saas/Data etc.)
Career experience or an interest in the legal sector is a bonus
A proactive, switched-on, and hungry individual who looking for a fast-paced, collaborative team culture.Benefits of this Account Manager role:
