Job Description
Spencer & James are partnered with the leading Tier 1 Main Contractor providing property services repairs and maintenance to council and housing association homes across West London.
We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to support the Site & Contracts Manager and take responsibility for the management of all site activities on the project. Your role will be key to ensuring projects are safely delivered on time, to the highest quality and to budget whilst achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Location: West London – Site working, with travel to the office required
Contract: Permanent – flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know
Salary: To be Negotiated
Responsibilities
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will work as part of a high performing team onsite, which will include the Site Manager, Resident Liaison Officer, Banksmen and Labourers and our supply chain delivery partners; you will report to the Site Manager and link in with the wider team of Design Managers and Quantity Surveyors; and using your operational expertise, you’ll ensure risks are identified and mitigated whilst coordinating subcontractors and suppliers in a planned and controlled manner.
Requirements
This role of Assistant Site Manager is great for you if:
* Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid qualifications
* Experience with a Main contractor in a Housing Maintenance Environment
* Proven track record of delivering external & internal refurbishment projects
