Behaviour Mentor

Qualiteach is currently working with a SEMH School who is looking to take on a Behaviour Mentor immediately on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 4pm. Working as a Behaviour Mentor in a school, you will be required to support in lessons, helping the class teacher set up and help the students when they find the work difficult, you will also be required to walk around the school and playground during break times to make sure everyone is okay and behaviour is kept to a minimum. All the students you will be supporting will have some form of Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs, due to their needs their behaviour can become very challenging, and you may be required to remove a child from the class or work with them on a 1:1 basis somewhere else is the school. The ideal candidate for this role will need to have worked in a school previously or in a similar setting and have strong behaviour management.

SEMH School

This SEMH School is located in Southwark and caters for students aged between 11-18 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. They currently have 170 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in 2018, they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.
