Bid Manager

£70,000 – £80,000 + package

This Bid Manager’s role is with one of the UK’s leading main contractors. They have an excellent reputation and build some of the country’s most iconic buildings. They are a diverse organisation covering most sectors of the built environment and this specific role is within their fit out and refurbishment division. Projects are also varied and diverse ranging from £1m – £40million in the commercial, retail and public sector.

The Role:

The focus of this role will be to manage the bid process, identify and complete the tender deliverables and establish the bid strategy, ensuring a considered and co-ordinated bid is presented for settlement.

* Lead bids from concept through to award notification, ensuring offers are clearly articulated, that all costs are reviewed and signed off ready for final submissions

* Produce a bid win strategy with the bid team, action and communicate

* Ensure correct selection of subcontractors and suppliers for key packages and organise distribution of tender documents/amendments for appropriate parties

* Develop bid quality documents for presentation to clients

* Responsibility for the quality of all aspects of the bid, including written documentation and presentations, ensuring that written work is clear, concise, and compelling

* Attend and lead hand-over meeting briefing to the delivery team
