Job Description

Business Change Manager with a background in delivering Technology or Data change projects is required by my global client based in Central London (Hybird working – two days a week in the office)
About the role
* Provide direction and thought leadership in change management to deliver great outcomes through major change initiatives
* Own change plans for a particular function and/or geography to ensure change projects work together effectively and the collective change is manageable for the impacted community
* Drive consistency and rigour in change management through defining and embedding the change management framework and associated tools/templates
* Build a consistent logic to evaluate the scale and impact of change projects and assess the level of change management resources required for each project
* Gather data and collating lessons learned to improve future changes and embedding best practices
Market complexity
A change Manager will advise on change delivery across a complex multi geography/functional/process/system footprint. Risk to business operations, change impact, and compliance/controls is in the mid to high range.
Top accountabilities
* Assess change impact at the outset of programmes and projects, to gauge change resources needed.
* Conduct comprehensive change impact assessment from which to define detailed change plan
* Own change plans across respective product line and geography to manage impact for the function/region.
* Define a robust stakeholder map to identify key sponsors, supporters and advocates
* Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with senior representatives from corresponding global function or region
* Coach stakeholders and sponsors on their role in leading and embedding change.
* Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan and support extended network of change resources
* Govern and support use of change framework by project change leads
* Identify potential risks and anticipated blockers to change at a programme level, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
* Conduct assessments to continuously evaluate business readiness based on the latest business environment and market conditions
* Capture meaningful metrics to measure the value and impact of the change management activities

Qualifications and experience required
* 5+ Years change management experience
* Experience working on IT or Data Change projects
* Experience of applying recognised Change Management practices within large Global programmes
* Skills in: Change Management, Stakeholder Management, Influencing, Communication, Negotiation, Strategy and Planning, Critical Thinking, Coaching and Leadership, Agile
* Key Competencies: Communication, Coaching, Delivery Focus, Customer Focus, Influencing, Collaboration, Critical Thinking & Analysis, Stakeholder management, Continuous Improvement, Strategic Thinking and Implementation
