Career Level Manager
The Role of Business Development Manager, you will be supporting with business development in new and lapsed markets – increasing hire through pro-active business development; in addition to:
Identify and increase hire opportunities.
Researching prospects using all available tools (Google, LinkedIn, CRM system. etc.)
Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, product ranges, strengths and weaknesses.
Ability to achieve targets and develop and grow the territory.
Generating new business by cold calling as well as maintaining existing customer accounts.
Manage the sales process including lead generation, negotiation, quoting etc.
Identifying products to meet customers needs, and understanding the internal hire process.
Work well with other members of the sales and hire teams to ensure maximum revenue.
Effectively manage time and plan days / sales calls visiting customers or prospects on site.
Attend monthly sales meetings.
Ad hoc duties as required.

Must have proven track record of winning new business.
Previous experience with the plant hire or attachment hire industry.
Have a hands-on, can-do attitude, willing to go the extra mile.
Customer focused with excellent customer services skills.
Ability to build strong customer relationships.
Highly motivated and target driven.
Excellent IT skills (Previous experience of CRM program an advantage).
Full driving licence.
