Job Description

Cleaning Supervisor – Charing Cross, Central London – FM Service Provider – £27,000 per annum

Exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisors to work for an established cleaning company situated in Charing Cross. CBW is currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to be based in a large commercial building. The successful candidates will have a proven track record working as a Cleaning Supervisor.

Working a monthly rotation: 

40 hours per week on a monthly rotation – 08.00am -17.00pm, 05.00am – 14.00pm, 14.30pm -23.30pm – Monday – Friday    Take part in weekend cover rota, typically one weekend in every four, working hours 08:00am – 18:00pm

Team of 20 cleaners & cleaning supervisors working morning and daytime.

Key duties & Responsibilities

The supervision of front-line operatives representing the client
Daily liaison with the Visitor Experience Team (primarily Duty Managers) attending regular meetings as directed by line management
Feedback to line management regarding service delivery issues and overall perception of service delivery
Undertake regular service audits
React to all requests from the client or management team within the specified time frame
Ensure that all operations are conducted safety and appropriate risk assessment is conducted for non-recorded activities
Notice and report any H&S issues that may arise within the estate
Assist the Cleaning & Services Managers in delivering a fully compliant operation
Meet regularly with The Cleaning Manager to discuss service delivery and the changing requirements for the estate
Support the delivery of training to the soft services team
With the Cleaning Manager, conduct performance reviews and appraisals
Monitor and complete accurate registration of attendances and the rescheduling of cleaning staff to cover absences, lateness and holidays
Note and report any general maintenance issues across the estate
Be flexible in covering planned and unforeseen absence by colleagues    Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
Previous experience of supervising operations in a demanding environment
Customer service focused
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
Excellent interpersonal skills
