Job Description
Cover Supervisor
Magisters Education have recently partnered with a Secondary SEMH School in Bexley. They are seeking a Cover Supervisor to start from 16/05/23 on a temporary basis. This role may lead into September.
They are looking for someone who is;
Confident leading a class
Charismatic- with the ability to keep the pupils engaged and focused
Organised
CommittedThis role is working in an SEMH (Social emotional mental health setting). You must be resilient and able to cope with challenging behaviour.
Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:
* Manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set by an absent teacher
* Supervising the delivery of the cover work by effectively communicating the work set to students
* Collecting completed work after the lesson and reporting back to the appropriate teacher
Cover Supervisor Requirements:
* Highly adaptable, can cover a variety of subjects
* Be confident, organised and at times, diplomatic
* Good Communication skills
