Job Title: Data Manager

Location: Barnet

Contract: Full-time, term time only + two weeks, commencing ASAP

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Manager to join our team at a Secondary School in Barnet. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the school's data systems and ensuring that accurate data is available to support the decision-making process.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the school's data systems, ensuring that data is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
Support the school in making data-driven decisions by providing reports, analysis, and recommendations.
Monitor and analyse data to identify trends and patterns, and to highlight areas for improvement.
Ensure that data protection regulations are adhered to, and that all data is handled securely.
Liaise with other members of staff to ensure that data is collected, recorded, and reported accurately.
Develop and implement data policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the school's data management.
Requirements:

Experience working in a data management role, preferably within the education sector.
A good understanding of data management systems and processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Knowledge of data protection regulations and the ability to handle data securely.
This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, term time only + two weeks. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
