Main Purpose of Role
As a Delegate Sales Executive you will join our already awesome sales team, selling Wilmington Events EMEA Seminars, Summits, Forums & other events.
You will be focused on selling delegate places to a number of prestigious, well known healthcare related events, talking to the public and private healthcare sector including a variety of staff across the NHS.
Key Accountabilities:
– Write and implement a sales plan with the ambition of exceeding targets
– Demonstrate a clear understanding of the points in the conference cycle at which sales revenue growth can be influenced, and proactively work with marketing and conference producers to ensure that opportunities are maximised in a timely fashion
– Maintain key metrics, including the financials across your portfolio of events to support accurate forecasting including:
– volume of past attendees and expected retention rates
– pricing strategy and personal negotiation outlines
– yield and volume of orders at specific yields targeted and actual
– actual and forecast order volumes and value
– actual and forecast total revenue per conference
– Driving growth through individual activity, ensuring that individual call times are consistently high
– Maintain a deep understanding of the value proposition for your events
– Track personal and delegate team activity and revenue, maintaining use of the pipelines and processes

Skills and Experience Required
– Experience in the same or similar role, or the ability to have emotionally intelligent conversations with customers / prospects, regarding event attendance and engagement
– The ability to hold quality fact finding and product proposition conversations with both NHS (Public Sector) and Private Sector clients / prospects
– The ability to meet Sales Targets and drive optimal activity levels
– The ability to learn new products / markets
– The ability to manage both warm leads, and target your own prospects
– The ability to build and maintain a healthy Sales Pipeline, enabling sustained achievement of growth Sales goals
