About the role

Due to company growth, my client is looking to expand their design team and are in the market a for a Design Coordinator with a minimum of 3 years Joinery / Interiors design experience. In this role your responsibilities will include managing a team of external designers and providing guidance to the team to ensure the designs are technically and commercially feasible. You will also Act as a senior designer on major or complex projects. In addition to these, it will be your responsibility to liaise with Client & Manufacturers to resolve design issues. The successful candidate will also be conducting internal reviews and approval of drawings as well as provide the Projects team with updates on design progress and schedules. You will also be attending the sites (where required) to brief fitters and pass on specific design information.

Salary/ Benefits

Salary will be in the region of £60,000 – £70,000 + Their Company Package. Subject to skill and experience. The company offers a fantastic working environment and will provide the opportunity to progress your career through excellent guidance, support and training.

Requirements

Our client is looking at Design Coordinator/ Manager who have previous experience working in the Joinery / Interior Fit Out industry in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have experience working on the bench / workshop and be proficient in design using relevant software’s. Anyone that has worked with a rival contactor that has worked on similar projects will automatically be of interest You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work under your own initiative as well as within a team and be able to provide work examples when required
