THE ROLE

They are seeking a dynamic and motivated Document controller. The Document Controller will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of all project and company documents and records, both in electronic and/or hard copy form.

Key Accountabilities will include:

Support of engineering consultancy and marine warranty projects.
Leading and developing the company systems for document control.
Managing the technical reference libraries.
Tracking incoming and outgoing documents and managing contractual response times.
Providing project document summaries.

THE CANDIDATE

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate all or some of the following professional expertise and personal attributes:

Experience in a similar role, it would be advantageous to have worked in the maritime sector but not essential.
Strong organizational and time management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with document management systems such as ACONEX, Sharepoint and Think Project.
Enthusiasm, motivation and drive to deliver and continuously improve a top quality service;
A confident and pro-active attitude with strong attention to detail;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Highly organised – Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment whilst maintaining focus on quality and attention to detail. Manage and prioritise own workload.
Team player who is keen to contribute to the further development of the company.
