A fantastic opportunity for an accomplished warehouse manager in a forward-thinking pharmaceutical company which manufactures and distributes pharmaceutical and healthcare products to the UK market.

We are looking for an experience professional to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, working an evening shift pattern from Monday to Friday (hours may vary).

Role: Evening Warehouse Manager

Location: West London (Perivale)

Salary: c £40-45k + Benefits.

You will drive continuous improvement in all operational outbound departments in accordance with GDP guidelines to reduce waste in all its forms.

You will will play a leading role in managing the KNAPP, Bottles, Drinks, Controlled Drug, Cold Chain, Repack and Dispatch departments and all its people.

You must execute the Warehouse plan efficiently, safely and within budget through direct leadership of the Warehouse Team Leaders, Senior Operatives, and Operatives. Providing direction, motivation, coaching and performance management as required.

Duties & responsibilities

* Accountable for the supervision of the warehouse on a shift by shift basis.

* Communicate effectively at all levels using various appropriate methods such as shift briefings and KPI data.

* Ensure a consistent approach to Performance Management and Sickness Absence Management is applied across the department and within company guidelines ensuring all Return to Work procedures are completed.

* Recruit, train, motivate and mentor staff within the Department in order to provide a flexible team who are consistently able to achieve departmental KPI's.

* Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the customer facing teams displaying effective problem-solving skills and abilities.

* Drive continuous improvement in people, process and the cost efficiency of the shift.

* Hold self and others accountable for quality of service and meeting deadlines.
