FIRE ALARM ENGINEER – BASIC SALARY UP TO £45,000 PER ANNUM!
Our client who have been an established Fire and Security Company for over 60 years are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join their team on a Full-Time, Permanent basis who is based in or around the London & South East area of the UK.
Starting basic salary up to £45,000 + Overtime & Call Outs.
Company vehicle, fuel card, tablet/ PDA & mobile phone provided.
Monday to Friday work (40 hour week).
20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays = 28 days in total offered.
Role & Responsibilities:
Your role as a Fire Alarm Engineer will involve:
* Servicing, Fault-finding, Reactive Maintenance, Commissioning, Small Works and Repairs of various Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting and other associated fire equipment.
* To provide reliable, quality support to our customers at all times.
* Assist customers and colleagues with technical issues either on the phone or face to face.
* Have a flexible approach to working hours.
* Provide assistance and training to other team members.
* Ensure you operate in line with our client's Vision, Mission and Values.
* Be included on the "On Call Rota".
* Ensuring you work in accordance to British Standards at all times.
Skills, Competencies & Attributes Required:
* You will have at least 3 years' experience of working within the Fire Alarm Industry.
* Familiar with a range of panels such as: Gent, Morley, Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Apollo, Notifier & more.
* You will have a Full UK driving License.
* Excellent technical knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems.
* Have a systematic/logical approach to tasks & problems.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Good knowledge of London and the home counties postcodes.
