Job Description

The Role of the Fire Alarm Engineer
Salary £38K – £42K depending on experience
Company van (with personal use), 30 days annual leave, ongoing training and support, regular manufacture of Pannal training
The daily role would be for small installations, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of fire alarms, emergency lighting, etc. Experience and well-rounded knowledge in fire alarm and emergency lighting are essential for you to be a successful candidate for this position. You must be reliable, punctual, hardworking, and have a positive “can do” approach.
Role Responsibilities
* The Fire Alarm Engineer will install, repair, upgrade, and commission fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
* The Fire Alarm Engineer will be performing routine service of fire alarm systems (conventional & addressable)
* The Fire Alarm Engineer will service emergency lights.
* Reactive calls for fault finding.
* The Fire Alarm Engineer will be doing site visits for quotations Required Work Experience / Skills
* Minimum of 5 years of experience
* Full clean driving license
* Troubleshooting skills
* Accurate and detailed report writing skills.
* Strong experience in fire alarm installations
* Compliance with industry standards (FIA/ NICEIC equivalent courses on fire alarm & emergency lighting)
* Experience working on conventional, addressable, and wireless fire alarm systems.
