This large and respected Multi-Academy Trust is looking for a dynamic HR Advisor to support their schools across England.
Working from home, you’ll be part of a school focussed HR team providing information and advice on employee relations, policies, recruitment, contracts and payroll in relation to teaching and support staff.
You’ll be the first port of call for headteachers and school business managers in London and the surrounding areas. You will provide guidance by email, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and over the telephone on the Trust’s HR policies and procedures, draft contracts and letters, advise on disciplinaries, grievances, absence and support recruitment activity.
Experience of supporting managers and current knowledge of employment legislation as well as the Burgundy and Green books are essential. Travel may be required to school sites occasionally.
CIPD Qualified Level 5 or equivalent
Strong knowledge about Burgundy and Green Book terms and conditions
Good understanding of teaching and support staff pay scales
Proven track record in a previous employee relations role
Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
