Hybrid working (four days office based / one day working home)
To support the HR Manager and provide full HR advisory and administrative support to the business and also to related businesses, across all sites. This is a generalist role, with a focus on recruitment, on-boarding and performance management.
Provide general HR advice, administration, and support on all aspects of the employee life-cycle
Provide organisational and administration support to the HR Manager
Provide advice and assistance with employee relations, including performance management and absence management
Administer and advise on the recruitment process;
Reviewing, recording and updating agency terms and maintain relationships
Placing adverts & updating recruitment records
Co-ordinate and attend interviews, ensuring panellist and candidates have all the necessary information
Plan & deliver inductions and onboarding of new starters, including relevant bookings, systems updates, follow ups and welcomes
Monitor HR & Recruitment inboxes and distribute or follow up as appropriate
Input, update, and monitor HR systems and maintain up to date records for all employees
Assist in advising on and administration of all HR policies and procedures
Administration of the leavers process, which includes exit interviews
Administration of Payroll, Benefits and be first point of contact for queries
Maintain up to date records of training
Assist with note taking and typing up of meeting notes
Assist in dealing with routine questions relating to terms and conditions of employment and standard policies and procedures
Run off reports and circulate these as required
Take part and assist with work for various committees, including well-being, mental health first aid and Diversity & Inclusion
Assist with the annual and part-yearly appraisals, including booking and chasing outstanding items and providing advise as required
Involvement in ad-hoc HR or business related projects as and when needed
General HR & office administration including, without limitation, filing, photocopying, printing and scanning.
Act at all times in line with the Company Values, integrating these into all work practices
Maintain accurate computerised and manual records
Produce accurate information and reports for weekly/monthly meetings
