IT Infrastrucuture Engineer Apprentice (Level 3)

Location: Pirin Court (London), Warwick or Chorley

Level 3 IT Solutions Technician

£16,000 starting salary

What you'll do:

Provision of 2nd and 3rd line remote and in person IT support of End User Compute environment, software distribution and software packaging.
Learn how to document existing IT solutions and processes
Identify improvements to existing IT solutions and process
Install, configure, upgrade and support hardware such as laptops, desktops, printers and telephony
Incident, Service Request & Asset management
On site support and touch labour for other ICT related services
Implements and supports solutions for the End User Compute environment including services such as M365, SCCM, Intune, WuFB,
Implement industry-accepted security baselines and provide compliance reporting.
Evaluate user requirements and recommend technical solutions.
Undertake computer system planning and design in conjunction with the ICT partners.
Monitor and analyse computer system performance and capacity, and provide recommendations for improving the computing infrastructure.
Learn about and work with the ICT partners to provide technical support for the resolution of complex faults, especially where the root cause of the issue is not clear when dealing with integrated solutions from multiple partners.Who you are & what to prepare for:

This role would suit someone who is passionate about ICT and IT solutions. Someone who is motivated to pursue a career within this technical field.
We don't require individuals with experience as we will provide full training in all aspects of the role from how to use tools/equipment to working at heights to ensuring safe working practises. We are looking for candidates with the right attitude, commitment, and desire to learn
You will get a mobile phone and laptop
Although supported throughout the programme by us at Telent you will need to take ownership of your tasks and personal development
Client and customer service is critical to the services we provide
You will need to have strong planning and organisation skills
Communication is vital; you will need to be an effective communicator both in writing and verbally
Although experience is not required knowledge around the below will be advantageous:
MS Operating Systems: Windows 7 & Windows 10
MS Office Suite & O365
PC Hardware & Printers
Mobiles & TabletsThe Requirements:

Minimum of 5 GCSE's Grade 4 or higher (or equivalent qualification). This must include Maths, English and a Science or IT based subject
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Must be over the age of 18 by September 2023Programme Specifics:

This apprenticeship is typically 18 months in duration
Starting salary of £16,000 which will increase throughout the duration of the programme
The qualification you gain will be a Level 3 IT Solution Technician
Our chosen training provider Bragd will support you in obtaining your qualification
You will work in an Agile model from both our office environment and remotely from home. You may also be required to visits client sites on occasions.
On completion of your apprenticeship, we hope to offer you a full-time position with Telent where you can continue to pursue your career
