Immigration Caseworker / Solicitor

TimesPBS, an Immigration Specialist law firm based out of White City London, are currently on the hunt for a number of hungry, sharp, and driven Immigration caseworkers and Solicitors.
Following the company’s aggressive growth over the past few months, we are looking for Experienced hires who can take control and manage a small team in addition to a number of vacancies for experienced caseworkers. Start dates are ranging from Immediate to a couple of months to accommodate notice periods.
Immigration Caseworker / Solicitor Duties and Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Preparation and drafting of advice to clients.
* Interviewing and advising clients. Preparing and submitting applications.
* Collating all necessary documentation to assist in both advice and application processes. Identifying and helping in planning appropriate training for the Immigration team.
* Providing practical support to colleagues in the Immigration Team.
* Maintaining and developing the relevant part of the firm’s databases. Developing collections of precedents for the Immigration Department. Raising awareness around procedures.
* Providing marketing and business development support in order to secure further Immigration workload.
* Encouraging knowledge sharing and capacity building. Promote good practice across the firm.
For experienced hires: (Supervisor)
* Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Provide support and learning to fellow team members in all queries regarding casework and best practise.
* In charge of discipline of team members and quality control of documentation.
* Ensuring the overall development and monthly revenue targets are met for each team member.
* Creating a support plan for team members in areas they require to be trained.
* Conduct monthly or weekly meetings with team members to manage their personal performance and development.
* Conduct weekly meetings alongside the Managing Director on performance updates, targets and revenue forecast.
Immigration Caseworker / Solicitor Requirements:
* Experience or passion for Immigration Law
* Fast learner with the ability to work independently
* Proactive and resourceful
* Excellent writing and communication ability
