Job Description

Job Title: Inclusion Manager

Location: Harrow, North West London

Type of Role: Full time, long term position commencing ASAP

Working Hours: 08:30 – 16:30, term time only

Salary: Actual salary on offer of £23,294.48 to 27,018.95

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Inclusion Manager to join our team at a Secondary School in Harrow. The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people and a deep understanding of the issues that impact on their well-being, learning, and achievement.

The role involves overseeing the school's SEND provision, including the development and implementation of SEND policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for coordinating the school's pastoral care system, liaising with parents, outside agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities include:

To coordinate and manage the internal exclusion room, including resources and environment.
To facilitate identified students having access to personalised programmes and support provisions so they are empowered to self‐manage and achieve expected rates of progress.
To work with Heads of Year and Pastoral Support Assistants to ensure identified students within their year group are supported in their learning and progress.
To liaise effectively with Senior Leaders, Middle Leaders, SENCO, colleagues as well as parents/carers and other outside agencies.
To support students and staff with reintegration following a referral
The ideal candidate will have:

A proven track record of managing and supporting SEND provision
Experience of working with children and young people with a range of needs and abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
An understanding of current SEND legislation and guidance
Strong organisational and time management skills
