Internal Communications Manager

£45,000-£55,000

London – hybrid role

Leading hospitality business

The Community and Internal Comms Manager will work with the Commercial Manager to develop a community plan and ensure that its constituent parts are well communicated through the business.

The role will be responsible for company-wide comms, compiling plans with Head of Strategy and Planning, writing content and working closely with central operations, linking internal comms and community and driving the internal engagement plan.

Responsibilities:

Develop and establish an internal engagement strategy which enhances organisational culture.
Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are communicated widely across the organisation to spotlight successes.
Plan, edit and write content for our internal social media platform, newsletters and ad hoc announcements.
To plan and organise internal events that act as a rallying cry for our future success and rewards outstanding performance.
Be a role-model for our values and facilitate investment in the organisations social and cultural capital.
Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for key company announcements.
Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all channels.
Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages.
Experience:

You will need to hunt out and celebrate good news stories from across the business.
Organising new events that celebrate, motivate and align team members will be key.
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the ability to energise people with your writing.
You will own the cadence of internal meetings, using these meetings to align the organisation behind our strategic priorities.
You need good interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to help knit the organisation together, quickly building a strong internal network will be critical to success.
You will also need strong non-verbal communication techniques such as graphics and charts, not all team members are fluent in English.
