Job Description

Salary £25,603.50 – £33,403.50 per annum
We are currently seeking a Junior Occupational Therapist to join our wonderful Roehampton Hospital supporting adults in 2 Psychiatric Intensive Care Units and 2 Acute Units. You will be part of a close and supportive team who will provide encouragement and support you in your career progression.

With that in mind we provide a wide a range of additional therapies to suit each individual, Music, Art and Drama Therapies along with some amazing facilities including Gym and enclosed sports area, Designated Art Room, Therapy Suite, Occupational Therapy Kitchen, Multi-faith Room and Therapy Garden.
As Junior Occupational Therapist you will:
* Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver a high level of patient care and outcomes.
* Manage a caseload of patients with a range of conditions, under the supervision of senior colleagues
* Accurately record all patient intervention and plans in the medical notes
* Take appropriate action when working with vulnerable adults following guidelines and Trust procedures, liaising with appropriate agencies as required
* Provide a high level of Communication with internal and external stakeholders
* Be responsible for the prescription and safe use of OT equipment and ensure adequate training is provided to colleagues, patients and/or their carers
* Continuously update own knowledge of current research and evidenced based practice within speciality
* Receive clinical supervision and participate in personal development appraisal
