Role: Lead Back End Engineer

Location: Central London (Hybrid)

Salary: £65,000

My award-winning client is looking for a talented Lead Back-End Engineer to join their team in central London! As the Lead Back-End Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of complex and scalable software solutions as well as supporting/leading the other Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of the back-end architecture and infrastructure
Design and develop APIs and microservices using C# and other modern technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end and back-end components
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code
Mentor and coach junior engineers to help them grow and develop their skills
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development and provide technical leadership to the teamRequirements:

5+ years of experience in back-end development using C#, ASP.Net and Entity
Experience building and scaling large-scale, distributed systems
Strong knowledge of database technologies such as MS SQL
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure
Experience with Microservices such as Kubernetes
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
