Morrison Water Services are recruiting for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to work on our Thames Water DSIP Major Projects contract in London and Thames Valley.
As the Managing Quantity Surveyor you will be part of our commercial team who are responsible for the successful delivery of this recently awarded contract to carry out larger, more complex water projects.
As the Managing Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the management of workstream based commercial team consisting of SQSs, QSs, AQSs and Administrators. You will ensure that their commercial team complete the following task accurately and commercial sensitive manner. You will produce monthly AFP production and submission. You will identify and measure change on live projects and negotiation of target cost variations.
You will be responsible for the negotiation of disallowable and withheld costs with client representatives / escalation to CM if required. You will provide monthly CVRs & forecast cost to complete by project. You will be responsible for the monitoring of subcontractor payments, forecast spend, risk and opportunity schedules. You will identify commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change.

Do you have intermediate to advanced Excel skills?
