Marketing and Events Coordinator
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Events Coordinator to join the organisation in this hybrid working role.
Position: Marketing and Events Coordinator
Location: Central London – Hybrid
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £28,296 per annum
Closing Date: 8th March 2023

About the Role
As Marketing and Events Coordinator, you will create, update and deliver marketing and events to promote the charity and its campaigns ensuring that brand guidelines are followed and work closely with the Operational teams to develop brand awareness opportunities at face-to-face services around Greater London.
Some other main responsibilities of the role include:
Marketing
Create and update marketing materials to promote the organisation and its campaigns (for instance flyers, factsheets, posters, reports etc) ensuring that brand guidelines are followed.
Work closely with Operational teams to develop brand awareness opportunities at face-to-face services around Greater London.
Create all branded material to support the rest of the charity activity.
Oversee ordering process for branded merchandise to support face-to-face service delivery, liaising with suppliers and providing artwork where relevant.
Events
Lead on the planning, organisation and delivery of (non-Fundraising) events including annual art exhibition, Art Is Freedom.
Being the first point of contact for all event enquiries including venue, key partners and stakeholders, speakers and guest list management.
Provide support to speakers and key representatives participating in events, including detailed verbal and written event briefings
Lead on the development of all physical and digital event materials
Evaluate the success of events, including noting any learnings for the future
Other support for the Communications team may be required from time to time.
About You
You will have experience within a marketing role and of managing in-person and online events, along with
Experience in working with design packages
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Resourceful, proactive, and efficient
Willingness to travel within and around Greater London
Collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills, working with a wide range of people at all levels
Able to work under pressure, juggling competing demands and to strict deadline
Empathy with and understanding of charitable causes
Experience in the charity / not-for-profit sector would also be desireable.
