We are seeking qualified mortgage brokers with a minimum of two years’ experience. You must possess drive and enthusiasm with the ability to build and service your own client bank (and help with our existing customers). You will be client focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
GENERAL DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
As a Mortgage Consultant, you will be offering professional mortgage advice and protection solutions in accordance with Financial Conduct Authority Regulations.
You will be supported by existing members of the team in the same or similar role, with a constant aim to motivate each other to build the business across all aspects. This will include inter-company referrals to specialist advisors of which you will receive remuneration.
QUALIFICATIONS The most important amongst the Mortgage Broker education requirements is the CEMAP qualification: if you’re interested in Mortgage Advisor jobs, you need to obtain your mortgage broker licence through the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice.
You will be guided to deliver your own version of excellence, and both your trainers and co-workers will drive you to be better than you ever thought possible. This will be delivered through your own CPD and attending various training days.
Instead of the traditional method of wages with an OTE, we do not place any upper limit on your earning potential. You receive up to 70% of all commissions created from the mortgages and insurance you write.
This will be achieved from your own client bank and self-generated enquiries, dovetailed with the needs of our existing customers and referrals. There is also the opportunity to earn passive income from internal referrals to the wider team of advisors. This retains your client bank as, realistically they will not need to seek advice outside our “house”.
Expected income will be from £50,000 per annum. On a self-employed basis. We will assist with tax returns and most suitable entities required.
You chose you own working hours. Although some obligatory training will need to be attended in person (and or on-line meetings)
We have offices in Sussex and London (situated adjacent to London Bridge on The Thames). You don’t need to be in the offices, full time. You can decide to work from home or utilise co-working spaces to suit your needs.
Support and IT
You will be provided access to all industry tools to enable best advice to be provided. This will include a dedicated CRM, email and quotation systems. Marketing material will also be supplied, including business cards and brochures, fact finds and compliant promotional information for use on social media platforms or printed media.
There will be administrative support available and file checking by compliance
