Job Description
This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organised and experienced MS Project Planner with proven financial services knowledge of working extensively with Microsoft Project (MSP) in addition to being conversant with Jira and Confluence.
In this MS Project Planner role, you will play a key part in planning, monitoring, and reporting the progress of key assignments and initiatives. You'll be expected to set up new complex projects with a number of work-streams and then help define and agree activity schedules, estimate resourcing and mapping costs to deliver crucial assignments. In addition, you'll help build a report visualisation tool / Portfolio dashboard to report to key Business stakeholders.
This is a remote working role, In return you will receive a pay rate of £400 – £500 per day on an initial 4 month contract which is likely to be extended.
As a MS Project Planner you will:
Plan, monitor, and report the progress of key projects.
Create portfolio frameworks around estimating resourcing, costs and schedules etc.
Demonstrate a background of delivering across major portfolios / programmes.
Be conversant with Jira and Confluence.
Produce and present key reports to senior stakeholders.
Manage and maintain relationships with key senior stakeholders.
To be considered for the role of MS Project Planner you will possess the following attributes and abilities:
Expertise in the use of planning tools such MSP.
Proven project planning expertise, with a clear track record in setting up new complex assignments with multiple work streams.
Experience of working in major, enterprise scale organisations.
Previous experience of creating portfolio frameworks around estimating resourcing, costs and schedules excellent research and analytic skills.
In-depth knowledge of data modelling techniques.
Working knowledge of relevant business management principles.
Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language.
Excellent attention to detail and verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to be a self-starter and take initiative without being given direction.
