About The Role:
Role Overview:
proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.
Our immediate requirement is for an experienced AV Technician to be a key part of our onsite team, representing proAV and working onsite at a leading international consultancy firm, taking full responsibility for event support, equipment maintenance, conference setup, liaising with tier 3 support, room checks, consumables management, remote monitoring and meeting room setup as required.
One of many openings available at proAV (who have over 500 team members globally), this position is based within our end user’s organisation in London who continue to invest in state-of-the-art technologies, services, and training.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced AV Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.
Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected by the remuneration and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
* To ensure all associated activities that comprise the AV service are delivered seamlessly and with maximum efficiency
* Supporting team members as required
* Escalate faults to centralised break-fix function as required
* Carry out daily RFB (Ready for Business) checks of required meeting room spaces
* Provide technical support to VC/AV users
* Locate faults and provide first fix resolutions
* To ensure any changes are implemented seamlessly as per the agreed requirement and with minimal impact on the business
* To assist with implementation of critical spares
* To undertake manufacturer training courses as appropriate to ensure knowledge base is maintained
* Test and check all AV equipment is in operable condition prior to any events or meetings
* Setup, testing and operation of AV and VC equipment including complex control systems, video projection systems, DSP systems, microphones, production cameras & recording equipment and all integrated AV components etc.
* Troubleshoot complex AV systems Fault-find, diagnosis and rectification Incident management and reporting
* Client technical support for AV infrastructure
* Dedicated support and assistance for client events
* Dedicated support during client events
* Preventative maintenance procedures
* Tracking all instances in Client’s ServiceNow Be first point of contact for our branch office AV related issues
* To ensure all break-fix activities are carried out under the contracted terms & within agreed SLAs
* Administration necessary to support the engineering role.
