Career Level Manager
I am currently recruiting for a Parking Appeals Officer to work with a Local Authority in West London on a contract basis.
The client is looking for someone to deal with formal correspondence received in relation to Penalty Charge Notice representations and appeals. Your duties would include dealing with correspondence, appeals, telephone calls, refunds, complaints, court & bailiff. You would be working in a diverse, highly motivated and specialized team.
To investigate and decide PCN representations and appeals in a timely manner and in line with legal requirements, council policies and procedures
To represent the council at adjudication and other external functions such as benchmarking and working groups.
To deal with ad hoc correspondence and other duties (including requesting refunds, responding to emails and occasional phone calls) in order to ensure the smooth running of the office.
To identify and report problems as and when they come up, as well as make the occasional suggestion for developing procedures to improve service delivery, customer focus and efficiency.
The candidate must be an excellent communicator with previous Parking Appeals experience of 6 months or more, you will have an eye for detail along with experience of working with computerised systems (Taranto).
