Job Description

Project Managers are the engines of my client.

But great ones don’t grow on trees. They’re looking for a passionate, digitally minded PM with that magical knack for finding solutions that work for both client & agency.

It’s definitely a team sport, with lots of plate-spinning, ball-juggling and colleague-wrangling. Fortunately, you’ll be working with the most amazing account management, writing, design, dev and finance teams on Planet B2B. Plus an incredible team of PM peers, of course.

If you can manage people who don’t report to you, motivate and inspire creative colleagues, and bring a flexible, ‘progress not process’ mentality to everything you do…we really should talk.

As a Project Manager, you will:

* Translate briefs from the Accounts team into action.

* Monitor projects throughout the agency, making sure they’re delivered on time and in budget.

* Communicate key milestones to the accounts and creative teams throughout a project, making sure they’re aware of any threats to delivery.

* Set up kick-off, stand-up and wash-up meetings, as and when needed, making sure all relevant people are included.

* Keep all project plans on our resourcing tool (Mavenlink) up-to-date, and flag to the Resource Manager when things change.

* Work with the Resource Manager to allocate resources to projects, making sure the right people are assigned to the jobs in terms of bandwidth, skills and client ownership.

* Book external suppliers as and when required e.g. editors and sound designers.Ensure that creatives are briefed by the accounts team in good time, and be on hand to assist if there are any problems.

* Ensure that all work is reviewed by the relevant lead/s at all stages of a project, prior to client reviews.

* Spot where internal processes can be improved, and come up with recommendations for how to improve them.

* Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across the agency, and use your influence to build consensus between departments.

What they’d like you to bring to thier company

* 3+ years experience of managing projects across a number of formats (incl. digital & video) in another agency

* A calm, measured and methodical approach, and an ability to juggle multiple projects and manage competing priorities

* Good understanding of MS Office and Google tools, and experience using a resourcing platform such as Mavenlink.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

* A passion for process and driving continuous improvement

And in return, they offer:

* Smart, kind, wonderful people

* Training time and budget – you get to choose how to spend it

* Work with tech companies from all over the world and across a variety of sectors. From blockchain startups to established giants.

* A hybrid working environment. You will determine how often you want to work remotely or come into the office.

* A focus on personal development

* Training time and budget – you get to choose how to spend it

* Lots of social stuff and ‘organised fun’, both company wide and driven by interest/ hobby groups

* 25 holiday days pro rata

* Pension: 5% employer contribution on qualifying earnings

* Life Assurance

* Regular dogs in the office (when they’re back in the office)

* Salary dependent on experience
