Property Business Development Manager

£45,(Apply online only) + £15,(Apply online only) bonus (OTE)


We are currently partnered with a growing company within the fire safety industry, searching for a motivated and experience Business Development Manager to join the team covering the Greater London area.

Your duties

Ensure delivery of company sales targets and growth with new recurring revenue projects within Commercial, Industrial, Medical and Healthcare sectors
Define a robust strategic and influential networks to promote awareness of the company’s brand and services across destination/prospect clients
A trusted advisor to existing and new customers. Actively learn about the customer, their pains, areas of improvement, and identify solutions to support the client and achieve full penetration of the company into the client base
Gather, maintain and create accurate market information that allows informed decision making and identification of new tender opportunities
Design and compilation of client focussed, solutions led tenders and proposals
Production and delivery of creative and impactful business presentations, commercial cost models and contract negotiations
Management of new business pipeline
Ensure that buyers’ grids are updates containing all key information and details
Ensure all sales admin is completed containing all key information and details
Design and produce specifications to comply with all relevant standards
Where required, complete site surveys, produce specification and cost sheets as per project process

Skills Required…

Self motivated with drive, enthusiasm, and resilience
Knowledge of Fire systems and associated systems such as Gas Suppression, and relevants equipment, sprinkler and water mist knowledge is essential
Credibility within the marketplace, both internal and external
Proven track record of achievement as a seller
Commercial acumen and results driven
Proven ability to respresent the Company at the most senior levels in client companies, i.e. presentations, written and verbal
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
Well-developed influencing and negotiating skills
Ability to anticipate needs, take the initiative and identify areas of growth opportunity
Excellent organisations kills and time management
Ability to manage pipeline and work to provide accurate forecasts
Ability to work with the surveying team and provide additional support where necessary
Detail conscious
IT Literate
