Job Description

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum (pro rata)

Location: London (UB6 7RL)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 16:45pm, Friday 08:00am to 12:30pm

Contract: 6 Months FTC (likely to be extended)

Job Purpose:

* Quality Inspector to support the quality function to inspect and sign off Aftersales vehicle campaign reworks in the following areas:

* Predominantly London area but may also be required at other Switch sites as required.

Opportunity:

* Vehicle rework inspections

* Liaise with engineering, as and when required on technical information for confirmation of specification and conformity

* Raise ECR’s where improvements are required to reduce defects / in service problems

* Weekly Report of inspections done and findings / signoffs

Experience/Qualifications:

* Qualifications in vehicle manufacture/repair and or production quality inspection

* Keen eye for detail

* Ability to interpret technical drawings/information to identify critical dimensions

* Good problem-solving skills with logical approach

* Must have good product knowledge with production manufacturing methods and knowledge of vehicle assembly sequence/process

* Good IT skills

* Good communication skills

* Must hold valid driving licence and capable to drive busses on site

* PSV driving licence (Desirable)
