Planned Maintenance/Fire Safety Projects
£60,000 – £65,000 + Package
Our client, one of the largest construction contractors in the UK, are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their property services division in South East London.
As a business, they currently deliver day to day fire safety, planned maintenance and construction projects across the UK. This role is to join the commercial department for the property services division. My client are ideally looking for someone with 5+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, however they would consider an experienced quantity surveyor that is looking for a step up.
Day to day responsibilities will include;
* Cost planning
* Ensure projects are being delivered to budget
* Reconcile cost/value reports & profit forecasts
* Working off the NHF Schedule of rates
* On boarding new suppliers & sub-contractors
* Approve sub-contractor & supplier payments
* Attending progress meetings with clients
* Regular on site visits
* Cash flow management
