Quantity Surveyor – Dry Lining Contractor
About the Employer:
Based in NW London, Our client is a well-respected specialist sub-contractor, specialising in Dry Lining, SFS, Ceilings, Partitions & Decorating who have built an outstanding industry reputation on delivering first class construction packages predominately in Residential Sector. Established for over 20 years they’ve spearheaded the industry with dynamic approach and have built / maintained strong client relationships with some of the UK’s largest construction firms including Berkeley Homes, Canry Wharf Contractors and Balfour Beatty. They currently have an annual turnover of £20m and our clients’ prime focus is on packages ranging anything from £1m to £10m, working within London and Surrounding Counties.
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for Intermediate to senior level Quantity Surveyors who will be reporting into the Commercial Manager. You will be capable of managing a projects with values ranging up to £5million. The projects will be in and around the London area covering Dry lining, Metsec and Suspended Ceiling Packages. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
Performing risk and value management and cost control
Advising on procurement strategy
Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
Allocating work to subcontractors

The guideline basic salary is £50,000 – £70,000(Negotiable), however this will be dependent upon the specific skills and experience of each individual.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience with a reputable dry lining contractor. Degree qualified preferred. Most importantly the candidate for this role must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and keen to progress your career further. You will also have to be a highly motivated individual and a strong team player. A consistent employment record is essential with at least two years at each employer.
