Job Description

The AICS Group specialises in providing community-based rehabilitation and support to clients who suffered from a brain injury.
AICS Group is looking for a Rehabilitation Support Worker to work with our client who lives in Streatham. This role provides immense job satisfaction within a busy and varied environment, working with a range of health and social care professionals.
We are looking for individuals who have the experience, heart, empathy, and dedication to support families with their loved one’s rehabilitation and everyday care needs. They would be providing this whilst assisting their Clients to work towards increased independence. We are looking for experienced individuals who can make a positive impact and are keen to develop their skills further whilst assisting their Clients to reach their full potential.
Client: The client suffered from a Brain Injury, therefore Cognitive rehabilitation is needed and someone who can motivate.
-supporting client to complete weekly schedule
-support in independent living
-taking him into the community
Therefore, we are looking for Rehabilitation Support Workers who can work:
Shift times 24 hrs (Sleep-in) Flexible
Monday to Friday (09:00 am start on Monday to 09:00 am on Friday
Monday to Sunday- 12 hrs each day
We are looking for individuals with a professional attitude who have experience working within family environments and supporting with day-to-day care needs and some domestic tasks associated with the Client.
Essential Skills:
Minimum 1 Years experience in health and social care, preferably with adults or children who have/had a brain injury. Basic understanding of cognitive and physical impairment, Demonstrate the ability to relate respectfully to people with physical disabilities, Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to liaise with other professionals daily
Desirable Skills:
Current and clean drivers license, Experience in providing care to people living in the community
