Job Description

Our client who was founded in the 80's are now looking for an experience Block Manager for their newly refurbished Bromley office.
Their Estate Managers play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service to their clients by managing a multifaceted portfolio of residential blocks. Each member of their team is carefully selected for their professionalism, tenacity, and desire to work to the best of their ability.
They now have an opportunity for an experienced Block and Estate Management to join their established team and to manage their South East London based portfolio.
You’ll be someone who flourishes while working in a complex role, a proactive team member and excellent communicator.
Based at their Head office in Bromley South, you will be responsible for:
* Managing a portfolio of residential blocks and housing developments in and around the South East
* Preparing an annual service charge budget for each site
* Monitoring best use of service charge funds
* Liaising with leaseholders, freeholders, residents, tradesmen, third party contractors and professional advisors
* Arranging and monitoring works and repairs
* Arranging service contracts
* Administering insurance claims
* Arranging large works and consulting with owners
* Arranging risk assessments
* Monitoring health and safety compliance
* Site inspections
We’d like to hear from candidates who already hold the following experiences, skills, and attributes:
* Experience of working within the residential long leasehold sector
* A good understanding of the legislation
* IRPM qualified (preferably) or an industry recognised qualification
* Numerate with IT skills across Microsoft office suites
* Clear communicator across all platforms
