Job Description

Salesforce Email Specialist – London – £45,000 – £50,000

As part of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Team, you are responsible for building, set-up and deploying email and SMS campaigns through the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. Working closely with the Client Services and Digital Design you will participate in the design, testing and optimisation of campaigns for all key Salesforce Marketing Cloud clients,

Key Duties

• Work with Client Services and Digital Design and Data Production Teams to deliver high quality SALESFORCE MARKETING CLOUD email and SMS campaigns and reports within scheduled delivery time

• QA both own and team workload to ensure strict quality standards are adhered to

• Troubleshoot potential issues and identify suitable resolutions to problems through a logical thought process

• Build, adapt and maintain campaign templates using HTML, AMP script or via the editor

• Manage and segment audience data using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools (data extensions, API and SQL)

• Work with Practice Lead and Client Services Team on special projects, including transactional and triggered journeys, as well as other third-party integrations utilising APIs

• Create, edit and manage subscriber data, filters, import queries and segmentation to create send-able audiences

• Ensure campaign design and templates are optimised, user and device-friendly, plus monitor campaign sends and validate completion

• Analyse the success of past campaigns and use data to make recommendations for optimisation and further segmentation

• Work alongside SALESFORCE MARKETING CLOUD Team to create build efficiencies in daily execution specs and audience count operations

• Ensure personal maintenance of code snippets and campaign template systems (editing, updating, QA)

• Set up reporting templates for checking of campaign status

• Create and maintain internal and client support documentation for Salesforce Marketing Cloud processes developed

• Proactively manage time, ensuring Resource Manager is kept up to speed on progress and impacts to deliverables on a daily basis

• To attend and comply with all training

• Undertake to comply with the Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and its associated policies.

• To perform any other duties, which may be required from time to time

Personal/Technical Requirements

• Salesforce Certifications: MC Email Specialist and advantageous MC Developer

• 2+ years’ experience of email development using HTML and AMPscript.

• 2+ years hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

• Experience setting up and managing campaigns via Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and launching automated journeys

• Previous experience of running segmentation programmes and queries using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools and SQL

• Self-motivated with desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment to deliver campaigns in line with schedules and client deadlines

• A team player with performance analysis skills, plus data and insight driven

• Strong interpersonal skills when working with internal and external clients

• Able to follow process and identify areas of improvement

• Strong communication skills – verbal and written

• Ability to think logically

• Marketing qualifications would be beneficial
