Job Title: Science Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Hillingdon, London

Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (ASAP – end of academic year)

Salary: Starting rate of £85+ per day

We are seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic and supportive team at a mainstream Secondary School in Hillingdon. As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and provide support to students in Science lessons across all Key Stages.

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in planning and delivering Science lessons
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional help
Marking and providing feedback on student work
Undertake administrative tasks to support the Science department
Support the preparation of practical experiments and resources
Requirements:

A degree in Science or related field
Passion for working with young people and supporting their learning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience of working with young people in an educational setting would be desirable but not essential
This is a full-time temporary position, commencing ASAP and running until the end of the academic year in the first instance. The hours of work are 08:30 – 16:30 and the starting rate of pay is £85+ per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
