Job Description

SEMH Teaching Assistant – Waltham Forest

Remedy Education are currently for a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students with SEMH & mild SEN needs. The school is based in Highams Park, it caters for mixed-age students with mild SEN & SEMH needs. The school caters for students functioning at a high cognitive level and are academic.

The role will be supporting students one-to-one and in small groups, your daily duties will be providing academic, emotional and social support aswell as a lot of behaviour management.

What the school is looking for is somebody with experience working with vulnerable children/teenagers, a good education (ideally degree-educated) and a positive attitude and friendly personality.

* 8:30 – 3:30
* Monday – Friday
* £75 – £90 per day
* Immediate start
* Parking available

The successful candidate will need an enhanced DBS check for Children & Adults
