I am currently recruiting for a SEN Support worker and Teaching/Learning Support Assistants to join an Ofsted 'GOOD' SEN School in Addington starting immediately.

The roles will be full-time, long-term, supporting various aspects of education (all classroom based), 1:1 and group learning for Key Stage 1-5 pupils (2 to 19 years old), the school caters for children with Social Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties, Complex needs and additional Learning Difficulties / Special Educational Needs.

*The school will consider individuals who have experience in mainstream schools and graduates as they will be providing on site training and CPD.

Duration: Long Term

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Monday – Friday (Full-Time)

The successful applicants will have:

Experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age
Previous experience working with vulnerable individuals or SEN
Excellent Behaviour Management skills
Ability to utilise/implement Positive Behaviour Strategies
A calm, patient manner and ability to react positively to a fast-changing environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents/careers
Ability to competently use a computer and the Internet (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
An Enhanced Child or Child & Adult Workforce barred list DBS Certificate registered on the update service
