Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant
* Primary School
* Full Time
* 1 year contract
* £75 – £85 per day
Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant with experience of working with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder?
Philosophy Education are currently working with a lovely catholic primary school in Peckham who are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in September.
In this role, you will be working with 2 pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder in reception. Both children need speech and language support as well as general support to access learning activities in the classroom.
The children need a committed and kind SEN Teaching Assistant to support all round development. You will work alongside teaching staff, the SEN team, external support agencies and the family to enable the pupil to make progress. With good transport links the school is easily accessed by public transport.

This catholic primary school is based in a diverse area of Peckham and is popular for the local catholic community. Children have access to a broad curriculum which allows for investigation and enrichment. The school has a strong catholic ethos and encourages pupils to become responsible members of the community. There is a welcoming staff team, headed up by an dedicated senior leadership team.
