Job Description

Remedy Education are currently working with a Primary School in Lewisham that is looking for long term SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TA). The Lewisham Primary school SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TA) for students aged 2-11 years old. The successful Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) must be willing to support students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism (ASD) and must be commutable to Lewisham, South East London.

SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) job role:

Supporting student with SLD, PMLD & ASD.
Supporting pupils with EHCPs.
Supporting pupil's emotional and educational needs.
Working with the class teacher to ensure pupil's learning and emotional needs are met.
Helping to create a positive learning environment for the pupils.SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Requirements:

Experience in working with and supporting young people in a secondary school is desirable.
Experience with learning difficulties & SEN is desirable.
Be able to communicate with school staff, parents, and carers.
Certificates in supporting teaching and learning would be an advantage.
Available 5 days a week 08:30 – 15:30
