Job Description

Do you want a new position that is a little bit different from the rest of the positions in the industry? You'd effectively be in a client-side role which is an opportunity that rarely comes along. Are you good at building relationships? Do you consider yourself a leader? If this sounds interesting, keep reading – a very rare opportunity could be waiting for you.

The Company
This company’s 155-year legacy is built on personal pride, technical expertise and dedication to delivering outstanding results. They are engineers of human experiences – problem solvers who care about how a space makes you feel when you step inside – who bring buildings to life. They overcome every challenge with ingenuity, determination, and pride.

They take personal responsibility to achieve a shared vision, combining strong relationships with technical excellence. When they embark on a project journey, they are making a commitment to the client and to each other.

The Position
For this role, you will be working alongside the Team Leader. It is ultimately a client-facing position where you will be responding to clients’ needs, developing, and producing reports, specifications and guidance as well as overseeing testing and commissioning activities. This company works closely as a team to ensure they achieve the best results and deliver a consistent high-quality service for their clients. This kind of client-facing role rarely comes along and offers you the space to grow. This client is looking to expand heavily due to the continued success of a very niche division and staff retention here is incredible.

You will get the opportunity to travel across various EU/UK locations but don’t worry, you won’t be on a plane every week and of course, when you do travel, all expenses are paid for.

You will gain exposure on the some of the highest profile projects including data centres (no prior data centre knowledge is necessary), in addition to generator systems & resilient networks. You will also receive EngTech/IEng/CEng mentoring through CIBSE/IET/IMechE.

There is an incredible progression rate and opportunity for advancing internally. This company is big on promoting from within. Just think, you could reach all your career goals in one place.

As a specialist consultant you will monitor, optimise and create value as well as draw on insight & practical experience of those around you to get the most out of occupied buildings with a keen focus on the zero-carbon reality.

Some of the benefits you can expect:

* 9-day fortnight – the firm offers all employees the option to work a 9-day fortnight

* Hybrid Working – activity-based approach

* Employee stock purchase plan – a voluntary program which allows eligible employees to purchase Tetra Tech common stock at a 15% discount

* Cycle to work scheme

* Gym and retail discounts

* GAYE – Give As You Earn so you can give back while doing what you love
