Service Engineer  – Charlton

Hours – Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm 

Our client has an opportunity for a Service Engineer to join their team at their Charlton Depot.

 As one of their engineers, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of the company's range of Pump hire products, both on-site and at the depot.

Your main objective within this role is to ensure products perform to customer expectations and minimise future breakdowns.

As one of our Engineers, you will;

Maintain full and safe operational functionality and presentation of a wide range of Pump equipment.

Be checking, cleaning, servicing, maintenance, and record-keeping to be consistently carried out to the standards set down by the Company in accordance with the published Workshop procedures and with Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.

Deal with equipment breakdowns promptly and appropriately, assisting with customer liaison as required to make an initial diagnosis.

Attend customer sites to effect minor repairs where practical or to advise on the exchange of plant, ensuring that the customer is kept informed throughout.

Installation and de-installation of on-site applications (so CSCS would be beneficial).

The successful engineer will need to be an excellent communicator as often you will be the first line of contact with customers.
