Job Description
An exciting new position has become available for a Settlements Administrator to join a global financial services company in Central London. The successful candidate will be driven, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working for a fast paced organisation.
Please note – Hours (7:30am-4:30pm) Monday to Friday
Duties include
Working as part of the global settlements team and reporting to the Head of Settlements, you will oversee and manage all aspects of inbound and outbound payments. Key responsibilities include
* Booking of incoming funds
* Releasing of outbound payments
* Handling payment queries
* Managing FX trade reconciliations
* Bank account reconciliation
* Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries
* Liaising with clients (both internal and external) to resolve any queries raised in a timely manner
* Identifying system and process improvements and raising these for consideration Requirement
* Experience in financial services (FX brokerage or payments) preferred
* Strong time management skills
* Methodical and numerate, with a strong attention to detail.
* Excellent customer service skills with ability to both support and influence internal and external stakeholders
* You must be diligent, proactive and committed
* You must have the ability to adapt to new challenges and thrive outside of your comfort zones
* You must be a team player
